


Stamping is a forming process that relies on presses and molds to apply external forces to plates, strips, tubes, profiles, etc., to produce plastic deformation or separation, so as to obtain workpieces of the desired shape and size (stamped parts). Stamping and forging are the same plastic processing (or pressure processing), collectively known as forging and pressing. The blanks for stamping are mainly hot-rolled and cold-rolled steel plates and strips.
